New Joyful Fruit Collection for Summertime
We just released a new collection called Joyful Fruit just in time for Summertime and Berry Picking. I find the verses on this collection to be very comforting & reassuring reminders of God’s presence.
We have about 10 Blueberry bushes in our backyard. The bushes are loaded and the berries are just beginning to ripen. They are delicious! I pass the loaded bushes several times a day as I walk back and forth from the Studio to Warehouse and often make a slight detour to pick a few to pop in my mouth on the walk back. A sweet, and sometimes tart, refreshing treat!
"May the Lord bless you and keep you."
If you look closely at the picture of the blueberries I painted you can see a verse from Numbers 6. “May the Lord bless you and keep you. May He make His face shine upon you…” and the second design is a continuation of that verse “May The Lord turn His face toward you and give you peace”.
I love this verse! What a precious prayer to pray for your family, for your friends, and even yourself!
Have you ever heard the Kari Jobe song called “The Blessing”? She used this verse and created an amazing song based on scripture. It is absolutely beautiful andI love listening to it on repeat. I think of this song when I think of these designs. I think it would be a wonderful verse to memorize over the Summer.
I would love for you to look closely at the picture with the Bluebirds. This is an older design that we had retired, but have brought back for the Summer. It coordinates so nicely with the Blueberries and Citrus designs. I’ve always loved this design. I think it is delicate and gentle.
Reminders of God's Rich Promises to Share With Your Spiritual Sisters
The birds represent friends, maybe even spiritual sisters, reminding each other of the rich promises in this verse! At shows I’ve overheard ladies looking at this design and saying “Oh I love that picture, it would be perfect for my friend...but I can’t give it to her because she will think I’m calling her old!” I’ve heard this said on several occasions and have been able to speak up for this verse a few of those times and say “No! Look closely at it.” and this is what I explained to them.
“Even TO your old age and gray hairs I am He” The emphasis on to is mine. This is such a comforting promise to me! First of all, I don’t care how old you are, we are ALL old to someone. Ask a preschooler, they will have even a 20 year old feeling ancient! I believe this is such a powerful promise. He is promising to be with you “even when you are old and gray” and “He will sustain you”.
“I have made you and I will carry you” I cling to this part! He made me, and He understands me and loves me anyway and promises to carry me.
I Can Remember When My Children Were Small...
I can remember when my children were small. They would play so hard and fall asleep in the car on the ride home. They were sleeping so sound I would pick them up and carry them inside and gently lay them in their bed. Other times, they were hurt or afraid and I picked them up and carried them. And sometimes they just wanted to be held! Guess what? Yes, I picked them up and carried them.
Our Father does the same thing and He must realize that we really need this reminder because He repeats it all again! “I will carry you: I will sustain you and I will rescue you”
Seasons of Life
I’m not sure what season of life you are in: maybe you're in an action packed season with hardly room to breathe, or a season of trials and maybe even suffering, or maybe you're in a season of long lonely days… read and re-read these verses. They are promises for His children. I believe they are for you know matter your season, and no matter your age. Here are just a few more precious promises to remind you of His presence this summer.
Sincerely,
Pam Coxwell | From the Heart Art
