Christmas Village, We Hated to Say Goodbye!
"I heard SO many stories giving God glory for helping [customers] overcome adversity, so THANK YOU to the overcomers! Each [person] had a different unique story but the same common theme... determination to give God glory, to count each day as a gift with a grateful heart despite the pain and loss. I needed that reminder each time!"
Overall, I think we all had a good time! We all share common themes with each other that we love God, and we love Miss Pam and her ministry! We are extremely grateful to be able to do what we do and share God's word with others through the beautiful products that we have! So thank you Christmas Village! We hated to say goodbye!
What I’ve Learned From 40 Years of HIS Mercy and Loving Kindness ENDURING
Prayer Prompts for "Back to School" (Or ANY Time of Uncertainty!)
No matter where you fit into the mix of “Back to School”, I would love to encourage you to be intentional in praying! There are a LOT of emotions flowing right now, that really affect us all in one way or another. I’m including a few verses and suggestions for praying for those around you. You could even insert specific names of people or names of a school or even communities. Customize it the way The Lord leads you!
Jeremiah 33:3 says, “Call to me and I will answer you and tell you great and unsearchable things you do not know.”
Jehovah Jireh - The Lord Will Provide
Learning the names of God leads us to understanding Gods character and His ways. Understanding God's character and His ways helps our overall well being. Renewing our mind with the Truths in God's Word about who He is will make it easier to line our decisions up with Truth. And when our decisions line up with the Truth of who God is, every area of our life is affected!
Sweet Friend, Jehovah Jireh sees you. He cares about you. He will provide for you!
Boasting In the Name of the Lord - God our Father
Did you know that in the Hebrew language boast means to “have confidence in” or “trust in” something or someone?
With this in mind, when I re-read Psalm 20:7 and replaced the word boast with trust, it is so much easier to understand and apply it to my own circumstances. I can ask myself who or what am I “trusting”? Who or what am I typically using as “a means of escape”? Yes, asking yourself these things can be convicting… But that is a GOOD thing! With conviction, comes the opportunity to repent/turn away and receive forgiveness and freedom! And that is a wonderful BLESSING!
A Sneak Peek at this Month's Box: June - Praying to the God of Hope
"May the God of Hope so fill you with Joy & Peace in believing that by the Power of the Holy Spirit you may abound and be bubbling over with Hope." Romans 15:13
Freedom is not free, it comes with a price! Just as each of us was bought at a price: the price of Our Savior laying down His life so that we may be FREE! Free from sin, Free from death, Free from the weight of our own destructive nature.
"So if the Son sets you free, you are free indeed." John 8:36
Two Unique Stories of Salvation (from right here at From The Heart!)
“That if you confess with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved.” | Romans 10:9-10
Do You Make All Of This!? Behind the Scenes Glimpse Of Our Small Business
Tracing Your Spiritual Family Roots
I enjoy looking at old family photos, don’t you? Flipping through the pages of an old family photo album and seeing photos of your parents as children...
But looking beyond the eye color, hair texture, strengths, weaknesses and quirks, have you ever considered your Other Family? If you are a Christian, you actually have two families! In addition to your biological family lineage, you also receive a spiritual genealogy. At spiritual rebirth, you were placed INTO the eternal spiritual family of Jesus Christ. Hebrews 2:10 and the verses following, tell us that HE not only makes us Holy, but we are of the SAME Family.
