“I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd lays down his life for the sheep." | John 10:11
In verse 11, Jesus describes Himself as the “Good Shepherd who laid down His life for His sheep”. I imagine the Shepherd laying His body over His precious sheep taking the deathly blows with His own body. The Good Shepherd by exchanging places with His precious sheep, accepted death to preserve His sheep’s life.
“Above all put on love the perfect bond of unity” Colossians 3:14.
As a little girl, I always looked forward to the candy and Valentine’s cards and parties. Now as an adult, it reminds me of God and His incredible love for me and you.
